Why it can be trusted
IDs are checked.
Everyone signs up with their phone number and their ID, and Imara's team checks it. New buildings and homes on offer are approved before anyone sees them, and a shop shows Verified only once Imara has checked it.
Your chats stay on your phone.
Chats between people are kept on their phones, not on Imara's servers: the server only passes a message on. What the building must keep, like your chat with management about rent or a repair, stays on record for both sides.
M-Pesa, with the launch.
Rent and orders will be paid with M-Pesa inside Imara, each with its receipt. It is being connected now and comes with the launch. Until then Imara keeps the record, and a payment that arrives without a unit number is matched by hand, never guessed.
